Late night boredom

Yes it's a friday night and I'm staying in. Why? Because i'm bloody boring. So much is going on at the moment. I'm moving to Australia, Brisbane in 3 and a half weeks! It's so stressful. I have so much to organise, so much to do before I leave.

Well anyway, enough about that. It's doing my head in even thinking about it.

On a lighter note, I have a new shoot coming up soon! I've started testing for Sapphire's modelling agency. Quite excited :)

My main inspiration for this shoot is occuring from Cyndi Lauper's (or as my mum calls her "Cyndi Loooopy") 'True Colours' video. It's amazing, i've always had a fascination with it. Here's some snap shots:

I love this video for two reasons; the simplicity & the softness. I find it quite beautiful really... or I'm just generally cheesy. I accept it!

So yeah, this is my starting point :)

Studio photography

I used to despise it. But now, i've learnt the fascination of studio photography! It's... not as bland and uncreative as I thought it would be. I had a negative attitude towards the idea of it, but I've definitely warmed up to the idea and will do more studio photography in the future!

Apart from the fact that some poor man DIED on the train I was on, and even worse, my CAMERA BROKE, yes MY CAMERA BROKE ON THE DAY OF MY SHOOT... it went consideringly well.

So I used a different camera, the canon 20D, thanks to Mr. Studio Man! The camera was definitely much easier to use than my olympus. Bye bye Olympus! It's time to get a new camera! I have a good excuse now. Although I won't be doing any shoots for a a couple of months now :'(

Anyway, the shoot was for LittleFille.com, a headband + accessory boutique. Mari's headbands are amazing, so pretty and inspiring - and most of all, beautiful behind the camera. We had a lovely team, couldn't ask for anything better :)
